D-backs Announce Spring Breakout Roster

In December, MLB announced they would add a Spring Breakout series for March 14th-17th. Prospects from each organization would compete in exhibition games. For fans, this is a chance to see top prospects in their favorite team's organization compete in a true game setting before the start of the regular season.

The Diamondbacks have announced their roster for this exhibition game. Here's who will be representing the organization.

Right-handed pitchers: Dylan Ray, Cristian Mena, Yilber Diaz, Landon Sims, Conor Grammes, Sam Knowlton, Christian Montes De Oca, Zane Russell

Left-handed pitchers: Yu-Min Lin, Blake Walston

Catchers: Christian Cerda, Alberto Barriga

Infielders: Jordan Lawlar, Tommy Troy, Gino Groover, Jansel Luis, Cristofer Torin, Ivan Melendez, Ruben Santana

Outfielders: Druw Jones, Jorge Barrosa, A.J. Vukovich, Jack Hurley, Kristian Robinson, Caleb Roberts, Jakey Josepha

19 prospects from our Top 30 list will participate in this event, including 9 of the Top 10. Shortstop Jordan Lawlar, a consensus Top 15 prospect, headlines this group.

Top 30 Diamondbacks Prospects Entering the 2024 Season

The D-backs Spring Breakout game will be against the Colorado Rockies on March 16th at Salt River Fields. Game time is 4:10 PM MST. The game will be aired on MLB Network. If you want to watch in person you can buy tickets to the event here.
