Top 30 Diamondbacks Prospects Entering the 2024 Season

Links hub with stories on each of the top 30 prospects in the Diamondbacks system, including scouting reports and projections

The Diamondbacks entered the 2023 season with a consensus Top 5 farm system with multiple impact players. They had Corbin Carroll, Brandon Pfaadt, Drey Jameson, and Ryne Nelson as their impact prospects, all of whom graduated. The Paul Sewald trade also saw the departure of Ryan Bliss, a future regular at second base, and Dominic Canzone, a left-handed bat that profiled for a first base or left field platoon. Most of them were instrumental for keying an unlikely championship run in 2023, that came up short in the World Series. Carroll would go on to win the 2023 National League Rookie of the Year award, doing so unanimously.

Entering 2024 the system is more depleted of talent due to graduations, with many of their top prospects just recently added to the organization in the past two years. They have three potential impact prospects headlining the top of their system, but it's filled with mostly high-floor, low-ceiling prospects that should see the big leagues. They'll have a chance to add more talent to the system in next year's draft with potentially three of the Top 40 picks.

You can check more detailed reports for all 30 prospects down below. This list will be updated as each name gets unveiled.

Infielder Deyvison De Los Santos originally ranked 15th on the list, but has since been removed due to him being claimed by the Cleveland Guardians in the Rule 5 Draft. He has since been replaced by Caleb Roberts.

After the 2024 International Signing Period opened up on January 15th, outfielders Adriel Radney and Belfi Rivera has since been added to the Top 30 list, debuting in the No. 7 and 17 spots respectively.
