He did a tremendous job with through all the SP issues during the RS. You can maybe question a couple of things in the series - Wong PH for Rojas in Game 2, not using Pepiot - but for the most part he pushed a lot of the right buttons. The players just didn't get it done.

Roberts has led the Dodgers to the postseason every year since he took over for Don Mattingly in 2016. He can work with the front office, which is analytics-driven. Many managers won’t.
He has the highest winning percentage among active managers, and three times, Roberts led the Dodgers to three World Series. He won the first world championship since 1988. In the last 58 years, the Dodgers have had one full-season world championship.
He did amazing this year given the excessive injuries we had, and the decimated rotation. Honestly, he isn't to blame for the NLDS sweep. Our top hitters failed us, and the lack of strong rotation depth finally came back to haunt us. He pulled the right levers with the bullpen.0

Get to 100 wins and winning the NLWest
I'm not entirely blaming him, I actually like him, but there need to be some changes, we cant keep doing the same every year and expect a different result.

I don’t understand why “Fire Roberts” is so popular, and we never hear, “Fire Andrew Friedman.” Friedman constructs the team. Roberts only works with the players given to him by the Dodger front office — and this year, he did a phenomenal job.
Of the other 3,000 fans who voted in the poll on Twitter from Dodgers Nation, nearly half of them approve of the job Dave Roberts did this season.

Since I was seven, I have been an ardent Dodger fan. My love for the Dodgers fueled me to be my high school baseball statistician for its Junior Varsity and Varsity baseball teams. For seventeen seasons, I was a freelance writer for Major League Baseball Advanced Media writing mainly about the Dodgers. I love writing about the Dodgers and eating.
