Josh Donaldson to Be in the Indians Lineup Tuesday Night, Ramriez and Kipnis to Shift Positions

The Indians that fans have been waiting for since the minute that the team traded for Jays slugger Josh Donaldson will finally come to fruition on Tuesday night

The Indians that fans have been waiting for since the minute that the team traded for Jays slugger Josh Donaldson will finally come to fruition on Tuesday night in Tampa.

Zack Meisel of The Athletic tweeted out Monday that Donaldson will be in the Indians lineup on Tuesday night, and that the team will move Jose Ramriez to second base, and Jason Kipnis will make the move out to centerfield.

Donaldson has been doing well in his rehab stints since coming to the Indians back a week ago Friday, hitting homers in starts in both AAA Columbus and in AA Akron.

Ramirez has been working out at second, and Kipnis, who played in center last season during the postseason, has been working on playing in the outfield once again.

Donaldson hasn't played in a Major League game since May 29th, and this season in 36 games with the Jays he hit .234/.333/.423 with five homers and 16 RBI.
