In this story:

Even Heisman Trophy winners are in awe of Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Shohei Ohtani.

Former USC stars Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart, who teamed up to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium on Friday night, also got to step into the SportsNet LA broadcast booth with Dodgers play-by-play announcer Stephen Nelson and color analyst Eric Karros during Los Angeles's 7-3 win over the Cincinnati Reds.

And Bush and Leinart received the full Dodgers experience, as Ohtani belted his 13th home run of the season during the bottom of the third inning of Friday's game, wowing the two former first round NFL draft picks.

Leinart, looking like every Dodgers fan, raised his right arm in the air in celebration as Bush, blown away, sank back into his chair.

"Wow!" Bush exclaimed, as Leinart replied, "What a stud, huh?"

That's often the reaction every fan has to any incredible moment authored by Ohtani, who currently leads MLB in batting average and on-base-plus-slugging percentage, and is tied for the lead in home runs in his first campaign with the Dodgers.
