Should the New York Mets entertain reuniting with center fielder Tyrone Taylor this offseason?

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Trevor Megill would be a tremendous trade target if he were to become available this offseason.

Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Jonathan Loaisiga, who is coming off a bounce-back 2026 season, would be an intriguing bullpen addition for the New York Mets.

Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Jake Bauers could be exactly what the New York Mets need this offseason.

With the World Series set to begin, here are five impending free agents from the Brewers and Rays who could help the Mets address their offseason needs.

If the New York Mets turn to the trade market to upgrade their roster this offseason, these five prospects could be on the move.

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Alex Vesia would be the perfect high-leverage hurler for the New York Mets this winter.

The New York Mets need a high-leverage bullpen weapon this offseason, and Alex Vesia should be near the top of their wishlist.

Hanshin Tigers right fielder Teruaki Sato will be one of the crown jewels this offseason and a player the New York Mets are clearly interested in.

A new update on Teruaki Sato could accelerate the Japanese slugger's free agency timeline, with the New York Mets among the interested teams.

After a disappointing last two years in Queens, New York Mets first baseman Mark Vientos could be traded this offseason.

With limited roster spots, several players' time in New York may be coming to an end this winter.

Even though Yandy Diaz has been playing mostly at designated hitter this season, his bat would be perfect at first base for the Mets.

With first base being a major priority this offseason, the Mets could turn to the trade market to find their answer. Here are five names worth considering.

Atlanta Braves pitcher Tyler Mahle wouldn't be the most appealing name for the New York Mets, but he'd be a solid add to the rotation.

The New York Mets have several needs to address this offseason, and five free agents within the division could help fill them.

While Tarik Skubal (not pictured) should be at the top of the New York Mets' free agency wishlist, they should keep an eye on Michael Soroka as well.

The Mets need a mid-rotation starter this offseason, and few available options may be a better fit than Michael Soroka.

New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor is hoping to stay healthy next season and lead the club back to the playoffs.

Despite another disappointing season, the New York Mets have plenty of reasons to believe their championship window is just opening.

Zac Thornton could be a major trade piece for the Mets this offseason, but New York would be better off holding onto him.

Even though his name popped up in rumors ahead of the trade deadline, the New York Mets might be better off keeping Francisco Alvarez for next season.

The New York Mets could explore a catcher upgrade this offseason, but sticking with Francisco Alvarez and Luis Torrens may be their best move for 2027.

New York Mets president of baseball operations David Stearns will be tasked with adding two new starting pitchers to the rotation this offseason.

The New York Mets need starting pitching this offseason, but they should avoid pursuing this former All-Star free agent.
