The New York Mets have set the pitching probables for their three-games series with the Atlanta Braves, which starts on Monday in Atlanta.

All three games of the series, which concludes on Wednesday, start at 7:20 p.m. eastern. The Mets get an off-day on Thursday before starting a series at Citi Field against the Los Angeles Angels.

David Peterson (3-7, 5.45) is expected to take the ball in Monday’s opener. The Mets left-hander is coming off a no-decision in his start against Pittsburgh on Tuesday. He went 3.2 innings, giving up three hits, one earned run and six walks against five strikeouts.

In three combined starts this month, Peterson has failed to get out of the fourth inning and has 11 walks and 11 strikeouts.

The Braves have not set their probable for Monday’s game.

Tylor Megill (7-6, 5.53) is set to start for the Mets on Tuesday. The right-hander last started on Wednesday against Pittsburgh, taking the victory. He threw five innings, gave up five hits and two earned runs. He walked four and struck out five. He is 2-3 with a 6.96 ERA in his last seven starts.

Bryce Elder (9-4, 3.46) is set to start Tuesday for Atlanta. He claimed a victory in his last start against the New York Yankees on Tuesday, going seven innings and giving up one hit. He walked three and struck out three. It was his first win since July 29. He is 2-3 with a 6.37 ERA in his last seven starts.

José Quintana (1-4, 3.03) will make his seventh Mets start of the season in Wednesday’s finale.

Quintana finally got his first win of 2023 in his last start against St. Louis on Thursday. He went six innings, giving up three hits, two earned runs and four walks. He also struck out five. He took the loss against Atlanta in their last meeting on Aug. 21, though he only allowed one earned run in six innings. He’s gone at least six innings in each of his last five starts.

Charlie Morton (12-10) set to start Wednesday’s game for Atlanta. The veteran right-hander has won his last two outings, including a decision against the Mets on Aug. 11. Against the New York Yankees on Wednesday, he threw six innings of scoreless baseball, giving up four hits and one walk. He struck out 10.
