Morejon is set to join fellow Friars Robert Suarez and Jason Adam in the National League bullpen.

The Padres will send three pitchers to the All-Star Game for the first time since Jake Peavy, Chris Young and Trevor Hoffman earned the honor in 2007.

Morejon has been lights out for the Padres this season, sporting a 1.71 ERA with 39 strikeouts and 0.833 WHIP across 42 innings pitched. He is arguably one of the best left-handed relievers in baseball.

The southpaw currently has an active scoreless streak of 14.1 innings. Morejon picked up his seventh win of the season against the Arizona Diamondbacks Thursday night, where he had two strikeouts and issued one walk in 1.2 innings of work.

“We know we’ve got the advantage with the bullpen we’ve got,” Manny Machado said following the Padres 4-3 win over the Diamondbacks. “We had all our guys up today. We just had to get it to them. … It was great. Good defense, the approach as an offense was great. And then the bullpen, they came in and did what they’ve been doing all year.”

The Padres bullpen has the second-best ERA in Major League Baseball with a 3.28 mark this season. And thus, it's fitting three of San Diego's best relievers will represent the team in Atlanta for the 2025 Midsummer Classic.
