The Philadelphia Phillies had two representatives that received votes for the National League MVP award. Catcher J.T. Realmuto garnered three fifth place votes, nine sixth place, two seventh place, six eighth place, and seven ninth place votes.

That was good enough for him to finish seventh overall in MVP voting.

Left fielder Kyle Schwarber, who led the NL in home runs during the 2022 MLB season, also earned a vote. Schwarber received one ninth place vote which landed him in 17th place among all players to receive a vote.

Realmuto's seventh-place finish was the first time the catcher has landed within the top-10 of voting for the award over the course of his career. While he didn't win the MVP, Realmuto was honored for his defense behind the plate with a Gold Glove Award for the 2022 season.

Both he and Schwarber were also took home Silver Slugger Awards. Realmuto led all catchers in OPS, while Schwarber led the National League in home runs.
