Best Philadelphia Phillies Moments From Legend Jason Kelce

In this story:
One of the worst parts about professional sports is when a beloved figure retires from the game and leaves the team.
The Philadelphia Phillies know all about that as their legendary group of players from the last championship team slowly started fading in their careers. Some left the team before they were done playing and others retired as a member of the organization.
Philadelphia Eagles fans are currently dealing with that after Jason Kelce announced his retirement after 13 years with the franchise that drafted him back in 2011.
Kelce is one of the biggest overachievers in NFL history, putting together a Hall of Fame-worthy career after coming into the league undersized and as a sixth rounder.
He became an icon in the city and had some memorable moments with the Phillies at their games.
Cheers to one heck of a career. 💚

Thank you for everything you've done for Philly, @JasonKelce. Best of luck in retirement! pic.twitter.com/1hRhefvz1d
Kelce was featured on the video board, firing up fans during the World Series against the Houston Astros in 2022. Last year, he attended a playoff game with his brother Travis.
But, two moments really stick out during the relationship between the star NFL player and the Phillies.
The first is when he chugged beer on the field during the National League Championship Series against the San Diego Padres. Routinely featured on the big screen when in attendance, getting down onto the field to do something like this brought energy to the stadium.

The second thing is Kelce and the Phillie Phanatic's "bromance" relationship that developed between the two. That has continued to persist whenever the former Eagles player shows up to the ballpark.

He thought he broke the Phanatic 😂
Is there anyone more Philly than Jason Kelce!

With Kelce now officially retired, that means he will be moving onto his next venture outside of the sport he's played his whole life.
What that is remains to be seen, but he's done well for himself in the media space so far with the podcast called "New Heights" that he does with his brother.
Maybe his retirement now gives him more time to spend at Citizens Bank Park to fire up the crowd and hang out with his friend the Phanatic.
One thing is for certain, whenever he's in attendance, he'll always be a crowd favorite.
