If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Just like the old adage, that's what Philadelphia Phillies' manager Rob Thomson has done throughout the National League Championship Series with his lineup.

After employing a matchup based lineup against the Miami Marlins and in Game 2 against the Atlanta Braves, Thomson has stuck with the same group throughout this series against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Brandon Marsh has paid off that trust by winning his lefty-lefty matchups in important spots of games.

Thomson originally started the postseason by playing right hander Cristian Pache when facing a left handed pitcher.

That changed against the Diamondbacks when Marsh started swinging a hot bat and forced his way into the everyday lineup.

Thomson isn't changing anything before Game 6, sticking with the same star-studded group.

  1. Kyle Schwarber - Designated Hitter
  2. Trea Turner - Shortstop
  3. Bryce Harper - First Base
  4. Alec Bohm - Third Base
  5. Bryson Stott - Second Base
  6. J.T. Realmuto - Catcher
  7. Nick Castellanos - Right Field
  8. Brandon Marsh - Left Field
  9. Johan Rojas - Center Field

Aaron Nola - Starting Pitcher

Facing Arizona's right hander Merrill Kelly made the choice to keep Marsh in the lineup much easier.

Bohm has struggled a bit sitting behind Harper.

He's gone 6-31 since the Wild Card round, recording three extra base hits, five RBI and five walks.

If he continues to be in the fourth spot if the Phillies advance to the World Series, they'll need much more production from him.

Castellanos has been cold in this series since tearing up the Braves in the NLDS.

He has one hit in the NLCS, a home run in Game 1, but has since gone 0-12 with three walks and a sacrifice fly.

Heading back home to Philadelphia, he'll be looking to get his bat back on track.
