Phillies Blow Late Lead in Game 4 as Diamondbacks Tie NLCS 2-2

In this story:
The Philadelphia Phillies find themselves in an unthinkable spot compared to how the NLCS started when it was in their home stadium.
After dominating Games 1 and 2, they dropped both games on the road against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
It was late inning drama that ultimately did the Phillies in during both Games 3 and 4.
After trailing 2-0 following the third inning, a Kyle Schwarber home run cut that deficit in half.
Brandon Marsh tied things up in the fifth inning and things really got rolling for Philadelphia in the sixth.
A wild play after Alec Bohm hit a grounder to third resulted in two runs being scored following a throwing error to get the runner out at home.
The Phillies took a 4-2 lead but couldn't capitalize further.
They extended their lead in the seventh when Trea Turner hit a sacrifice fly to score Johan Rojas, who had hit a triple earlier in the inning.
That's when things went south for Philadelphia.
Manager Rob Thomson went back to rookie Orion Kerkering in the seventh inning after cycling through two other relievers.
Kerkering was shelled in Game 3, but with the bullpen plan being in effect, limited options called for the young right hander.
He walked home a runner with the bases loaded before getting a ground out to end the inning.
The Phillies still lead 5-3.
Craig Kimbrel came in for the eighth inning, allowing a lead off double and a home run to tie the game two batters later.
Thomson was forced to bring in Jose Alvarado who gave up an RBI single to give Arizona a 6-5 lead.
Paul Sewald came in for the Diamondbacks to close things out, striking out Turner with a runner on second base to tie up the NLCS at two games apiece.
Game 5 will take place on Saturday night.
