There was no doubt as soon as Seager hit i that it was gone, giving Texas starter Nathan Eovaldi an early cushion.
Adolis García knocked Kremer out of the game in the second inning with a monster three-run blast to left. The 418-shot scored Seager and Mitch Garver, pushing the Texas lead to 6-0 after two innings.

It was Seager’s first home run of this postseason and the 14th of his career. Eight of those shots have come at Globe Life Field, which are the most in the short history of the ballpark.
Globe Life Field helped hosted the 2020 playoffs during the COVID pandemic, and Seager starred at the venue as member of the eventual World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers. He was named MVP of both the National League Championship Series and World Series.
Texas won 7-1 to complete the best-of-five series sweep 3-0 and advance to the AL Championship Series for the first time since 2011. The winner of the Houston Astros-Minnesota Twins series awaits.
