The Texas Rangers continue their 2023 Spring Training schedule in Arizona with split squad games against the San Francisco Giants in Scottsdale and Chicago White Sox in Surprise.

How to Watch, Listen to Rangers vs. Giants and White Sox

Game Time: Both games are at 3:05 p.m. CT

San Francisco: RHP Ross Stripling (starter).

Chicago White Sox: RHP Mike Clevinger (starter), RHP José Ruiz, RHP Reynaldo López, RHP Declan Cronin*.

Texas (vs. San Francisco): RHP Jon Gray (starter), LHP John King, RHP Jacob Barnes*, LHP Brock Burke, RHP Joe Barlow.

Texas (vs. Chicago): RHP Nathan Eovaldi (starter), LHP Taylor Hearn, RHP Jonathan Hernández, LHP Will Smith, RHP José Leclerc.

Rangers Injury Updates

OF Leody Taveras (left oblique strain) has been out since March 5. He is hitting from the left side of the plate without complication and will begin hitting from the right side of the plate on Wednesday.

RHP Glenn Otto (right lat tightness) was scratched from his scheduled start on March 18 after experiencing discomfort during his pregame routine. He was scheduled for an MRI.

RHP Jacob deGrom reported left side tightness on Feb. 14 when he arrived at Spring Training. He pitched in his first MLB spring game Sunday against Seattle and threw three scoreless innings.

RHP Spencer Howard (right arm fatigue) has been inactive since March 1.

Out for Spring Training and Beyond

RHP Brett Martin (left shoulder surgery on Jan. 18) is on the 60-day Injured List (Feb. 17) and is expected to miss most of 2023.

LHP Avery Weems (Tommy John left elbow surgery on Feb. 15) was originally expected to be a non-roster invitee for the first time in his career before undergoing season-ending procedure in February.
