Colorado Rockies Offense Showing Major Improvement From 2025

In this story:
The Colorado Rockies may not be a playoff team again this season as they and manager Warren Schaeffer are trying to lead the team through a tough long rebuild. But there is a silver lining to the Rockies again being at the bottom of the NL West division.
According to Rockies reporter Patrick Lyons, the offense has scored seven runs or more in way more games in 2026 than they did in all of 2025. So much so, that the Rockies are currently top 10 in the MLB with scoring seven or more runs in a game.
The Rockies do have a lot of offensive power in their lineup thanks to guys like Mickey Moniak, Hunter Goodman, Jake McCarthy and others that have done their part this season. The fact that the Rockies have made a huge offensive jump and improvement this offseason, shows that they are figuring things out.
The Rockies offense becomes more powerful once Charlie Condon is added to the mix

If the Rockies and their fans think that they have a lot of offensive firepower in their lineup now, just wait till they add their prized prospect to the mix. That prospect is none other than Charlie Condon who has been tearing up Triple-A pitching in Albuquerque all-season long for Colorado.
But the Rockies have not made the move to call him up yet which has been a head scratching move for the organization. Condon has hit 22 home runs to go along with 74 runs driven in and an OPS of .903 for the Rockies Triple-A affiliate so far this season.
Those kinds of numbers do not go unnnoticed to an organization like the Rockies that is currently rebuilding and has been rebuilding for quite some time now. The time can come at anytime for the prized prospect to be called up and make his MLB debut.
He would fit right in with a lot of the guys in the current lineup that have been mashing all season long. The Rockies have not been a good team in so many years as they have constantly sold at the deadline.
But with the players that the Rockies have currently in their lineup and once they eventually add Condon to the mix and add him right in the middle of the order, it is going to be a game changer. Whenever the Rockies front office thinks it is the right time, they will call Condon up and add more offense.
