The San Diego Padres have Clinched a 2020 MLB Playoff Spot.

The Padres beat the Seattle Mariners 7-4 on Sunday and secured at least a National League Wild Card spot. After poor air quality in Seattle due to the west coast wildfires, the game was moved to San Diego.

In a shortened season and at home, the Padres were able to get their 34th win in 54 games. This is the first time the Padres have made it to the postseason since 2006 and just the sixth time in their 52 seasons.

The MLB playoff series begins on Sept. 30.
