After a 9 year hiatus, Hall of Famer Tony La Russa will be back in the dugout as the new manager for the Chicago White Sox

This hire was a bit shocking - The White Sox fired La Russa 34 years ago. He hasn’t managed a baseball team since 2011. We’re seeing more and more teams in the league are hiring younger faces with little or no managerial experience. La Russa has had some controversial comments in the past and some members of the organization are worried about his ability to relate to such a young team. So what was Chicago’s draw to La Russ and can the team grow from his managerial experience?
