Rare Photos of Shawn Kemp

Shawn Kemp may be known as one of the NBA's most exciting all-time players, but he tried a whole new form of entertainment this past Sunday when he performed with the Seattle Shakespeare Company. The former Sonics great joined Seattle Times sportswriter Steve Kelly in a scene from Shakespeare's The Taming Of The Shrew (mixed in with The Odd Couple - see last frame for photo). Though Kemp likely won't be seen on Broadway anytime soon, it did show the high flyer in a different light. It also inspired SI to reach into its archives for these rare photos of Shawn Kemp.
