Count Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer unimpressed with Johnny Manziel's pro day. Zimmer ripped the Texas A&M quarterback's workout as "choreographed" and too focused on style over substance. "The huddles and the different things and the music. The sideshow stuff. It was a sideshow," Zimmer said afterward. Zimmer was also confused by Manziel's decision to throw while wearing shoulder pads and a helmet. Jones-Drew is headed to Oakland

The Raiders let Jared Allen get away, but they didn't let Maurice Jones-Drew out of their sights. According to two sources, Oakland and Jones-Drew have agreed to terms on a contract to bring the former Jaguars star to the Bay Area. Terms have not been disclosed, and Jones-Drew still has to pass a physical. Jones-Drew and the Raiders were scheduled to meet Thursday. The Jacksonville running back had also been courted by Pittsburgh, New England and other teams, but ultimately chose to make his home in Oakland. He joins running backs Darren McFadden and Marcel Reese atop the depth chart. (CSN Bay Area)Comment

Stephenson scolded after Heat game

Wednesday night's game against Miami marked the first time in Lance Stephenson's career he'd been ejected from a basketball game. The Indiana guard picked up two technical fouls during the contest, leading to his expulsion. The Pacers hung on to win that game, but Stephenson says he got a talking to afterward ... from his father. The elder Stephenson, who lives in Indianapolis, spent roughly four hours after the game talking to his son. "My Dad said, 'You can't make that happen,'" Stephenson said.
