CBS and Professional Bull Riders agreed to a new media rights deal that will bring increased bull riding coverage on the network, Sports Business Daily reports.

As part of the new contract, CBS will air 14 PBR events, which is four more than the current contract calls for. The sport will be billed in the same way as the NFL and NCAA men's basketball tournament, instead of under the "CBS Sports Spectacular" banner.

PBR officials told Sports Business Daily the deal shows an increase in popularity for the sport.

“This is the best deal in PBR television history,” Gleason said. “This deal really takes us out of the ‘CBS Sports Spectacular’ world into the PBR-branded world on CBS. We’re excited about the opportunity to live alongside CBS’s other sports programming, whether it’s the NCAAs, the Masters or the NFL as a major, committed sports property.”

As a continuation of the current deal, PBR will also receive regular coverage on the CBS Sports Network.
