A Bloomsburg University baseball player has been kicked off the team for posting an offensive tweet about Mo'ne Davis.

The account that sent the vulgarity belonged to Joey Casselberry. The account, @BigCass24, has since been deleted.

According to a Bloomsburg University Facebook post, Casselberry was a sophomore first baseman on Huskies team during the 2014 season. He was the team's second-leading hitter in the 2015 season, hitting .389 with two home runs over six games.

This box score indicates Casselberry played in a game for Bloomsburg as recently as Mar. 17. Casselberry's name, however, did not appear on the Huskies 2015 or 2014 baseball rosters as of Saturday evening.

The university's athletic department announced Casselberry's dismissal from the team in a tweet Saturday and said it was "deeply saddened" by Casselberry's words, insisting that Casselberry's tweet did not represent the views of the school.
