Actor Archie Madekwe Calls Training for Gran Turismo Film 'Hardest Thing I've Done'

Gran Turismo is based on the real-life story of Jann Mardenborough. The film follows Mardenborough as he uses his gaming skills as a teenage Gran Turismo player to win a series of Nissan competitions on his path to actually becoming a professional racecar driver.

Actors David Harbour and Archie Madekwe spoke with Sports Illustrated to promote the film. Madekwe, who plays the role of Jann Mardenborough, says the preparation for the film was the hardest thing he's ever done.
