Tony Stewart won't race in dirt track event this weekend
NASCAR star Tony Stewart, whose sprint car struck and killed 20-year-old driver Kevin Ward Jr. during a dirt track race in upstate New York on Saturday, will not participate in a dirt track race this Saturday.
Stewart, who pulled out of Sunday's Sprint Cup race at Watkins Glen, had planned to race at Plymouth Speedway in Indiana the day before this Sunday's Sprint Cup race in Michigan.

On Monday, Plymouth Speedway released a statement addressing Stewart:
We at Plymouth Speedway extend our deepest condolences and prayers to the family of Kevin Ward, Jr. and thoughts and prayers to Tony Stewart and his family. Tony Stewart will NOT be racing at Plymouth Speedway this Saturday. More information on the weekend's racing will be announced this week.
Stewart is not currently facing any charges over the incident. Police say they have found no evidence of criminal intent, but charges remain a possibility.
He has yet to announce whether he will race at Michigan on Sunday.
