NBA Buzzer Beaters of 2012-13

NBA Buzzer Beaters of 2012-13

Mike Conley

Conley hit a game-tying three-pointer with 30 seconds remaining and drove in for the game-winning layup with 0.6 seconds left as the Grizzlies defeated the Spurs 92-90 in Memphis and matched a franchise record with their 50th victory.

Jeff Green

Green's second game-winning buzzer-beater in three weeks gave Boston a 93-92 victory over the Cavaliers in Cleveland. With the Celtics trailing 92-91 with 2.1 seconds left, Green received an inbounds pass beyond the three-point line up top and -- with the help of a Jason Terry screen -- drove hard to his right and all the way to the basket for a layup.

Anthony Davis

Despite being the under the weather, the Hornets' forward and No. 1 pick in the 2012 draft scored his first career game-winner on a last-second tip-in to beat the Celtics 87-86 in New Orleans.

Marc Gasol

After Grizzlies teammate Jerryd Bayless sent the game to overtime with a late three-pointer, Gasol tipped in Zach Randolph's miss with 0.8 seconds left to give Memphis a 90-89 home victory over Oklahoma City.

Jeff Green

Green got wide open on a cut to the basket and made a layup with 0.5 seconds left as the Celtics capped a stunning comeback to edge the Pacers 83-81 in Indianapolis. Boston scored the last 11 points and held Indiana scoreless for the final 4:35.

Ty Lawson

Wilson Chandler matched his career high with 35 points, but it was Lawson who played the role of hero for Denver against Oklahoma City. Lawson hit a jumper from the right wing over Thabo Sefolosha with 0.2 seconds left to give the host Nuggets a 105-103 victory.

Monta Ellis

The Bucks' guard nailed a fadeaway 27-foot three-pointer off of one foot over Chandler Parsons to stun the Rockets 110-107 in Houston. The buzzer-beating shot rolled around the rim before bouncing in to complete Ellis' 27-point, 13-assist performance and the Bucks' comeback from a 17-point deficit.

Joe Johnson

Johnson appears on this list multiple times. On this occasion, he hit a 17-footer at the buzzer to propel the Nets past the Bucks 113-111 in overtime in Brooklyn. And the Nets wouldn't have even made it to OT without Johnson's game-tying three-pointer with 1.3 seconds remaining in regulation.

Rudy Gay

In just his fourth game as a Raptor, Gay made a 17-foot jumper with 1.7 seconds left in overtime as Toronto upset the Pacers 100-98 in Indiana.

LaMarcus Aldridge

Aldridge capped the Blazers' 21-point comeback with a turnaround jumper over Brandan Wright to beat the Mavericks 106-104 in Portland. "This is what you live for," Aldridge said. "That one felt great. That one felt real easy."

Isaiah Thomas

The Kings' second-year point guard scored 10 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter, including a tiebreaker floater with one second left to send Sacramento past Washington 96-94. Sacramento won on the road for only the fifth time all season.

DeMar DeRozan

The Raptors hadn't had a game-winning buzzer-beater in more than six years before DeRozan swished a tough, high-arcing 22-footer over Glen Davis to lift Toronto past Orlando 97-95. This marked Toronto's second victory this season at Indiana, one of the NBA's best home teams.

Bradley Beal

The Wizards pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the season when Beal hit a double-clutch leaner from just outside the free-throw line with 0.3 seconds remaining to lead host Washington past Oklahoma City 101-99. Washington improved to a league-worst 5-28 with the victory and handed the Thunder their eighth loss in 34 games.

Joe Johnson

The Nets' shooting guard has two double-overtime game-winners this season, the second coming on a step-back jumper with 0.7 seconds left in a 115-113 victory at Washington.

Kyrie Irving

After milking the clock for nearly 15 seconds, Irving drilled a 12-footer over Jeffery Taylor with one second to play as the Cavaliers defeated the Bobcats 106-104 in Charlotte.

J.R. Smith

With the Knicks inbouding the ball with one second left in a 97-97 game at Phoenix, Smith took a pass from Jason Kidd in the left corner and delivered a fading, off-balance 21-footer over P.J. Tucker. Smith finished with 27 points on a night when the Knicks played without Carmelo Anthony and Raymond Felton.

Damian Lillard

Portland's Rookie of the Year favorite delivered his first career game-winner, a tiebreaking three-pointer over the outstretched arms of Hornets forward Ryan Anderson with 0.3 seconds to play. "Every time I go up to shoot those last shots, I feel like it's going on," Lillard said after the Trail Blazers' 95-94 victory at the Rose Garden. "Tonight just happened to be the first one to fall."

Joe Johnson

In the first of his two double-overtime game-winners this season, Johnson drilled a difficult step-back jumper from just inside the three-point line to push Brooklyn past Detroit 107-105. Johnson's J over Tayshaun Prince was the Nets' first buzzer-beating victory since 2009.

Mo Williams

The Jazz point guard made his only three-pointer of the night count, as his shot near the top of the key over Danny Green gave Utah a 99-96 home victory.

J.R. Smith

The first of Smith's two buzzer beaters in December came on a step-back jumper over Michael-Kidd Gilchrist to send the Knicks to a 100-98 victory in Charlotte. Smith got the call for the final shot after Carmelo Anthony left the game two minutes earlier with a finger injury.

Brandon Jennings

Cleveland and Milwaukee were tied at 102-102 with the Bucks inbounding the ball with 0.7 seconds left. The Bucks' Jennings managed to free himself at the top of the key and get off a three-pointer before the buzzer to clinch a 105-102 victory.

Tony Parker

Parker converted a 21-footer from the left wing as time expired to lift the Spurs past the Thunder 86-84 in San Antonio, spoiling Oklahoma City's season opener in a rematch of the 2012 Western Conference finals.
