Heat repeat as champions, beating Spurs in 7 games to win 2013 NBA Finals

LeBron James and the Heat won the 2012-13 NBA title

MIAMI -- The Heat repeated as NBA champions on Thursday night, defeating the Spurs 95-88 in Game 7 of the 2013 NBA Finals at American Airlines Arena.

LeBron James hit a long jumper with 27 seconds remaining to give Miami a four-point lead and hit two free throws with 23.5 seconds left to extend the lead to six. James finished with a game-high 37 points, his highest scoring output of the 2013 playoffs, and added 12 rebounds and four assists.

Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Kawhi Leonard added 19 points and 16 rebounds in a losing effort.
