Chris Paul has taken the fake twin "Cliff Paul" concept to a whole new level in his latest ad for State Farm Insurance, which will begin airing on Christmas Day.

In the latest spot, dubbed "Heritage of the Assist," the Clippers' All-Star point guard stars as his twin brother Cliff and their imaginary ancestors, Clifford Paul Sr. Sr. Sr. and Christopher Paul Sr. Sr. Sr.

Joining Paul in the ad is his (real) son, "Lil Chris," who also gets a body double in the ad.

The minute-long commercial continues the series' theme: Chris Paul's distributing abilities mirror Cliff Paul's helpful personality as an insurance agent. The ad depicts shopkeeper Clifford Paul Sr. Sr. Sr. giving out umbrellas to early State Farm employees while Christopher Paul Sr. Sr. Sr. "invents the assist" by becoming the first basketball player to pass to one of his teammates.

Paul and the Clippers (20-9) will visit the Warriors (16-13) in the fifth and final game of the NBA's Christmas Day slate on Wednesday. Entering the holiday, Paul, 28, is averaging 19.2 points and a league-leading 11.3 assists per game.
