Video: Kings fan hits halfcourt shot to win free car

A Kings fan hit a halfcourt shot to win a free car during Sacramento's 107-92 home loss to Oklahoma City on Tuesday night.

Another dreary defeat for Sacramento featured at least one feel good moment, when a young man swished a halfcourt shot during a break in the second quarter action. Dressed in a gray Kings t-shirt, the fan took a few steps on approach before launching the ball from his chest straight into the hoop. The Sleep Train Arena couldn't have been happier for the guy, who flexed and pounded his chest to celebrate the moment.

His take? A free Kia from a local dealership. One interesting twist? The dealership's owner was actually in the building to see the action unfold.

DeMarcus Cousins (10-for-24 shooting) and Travis Outlaw (11-for-20 shooting) scored 24 points apiece to lead Sacramento. Jason Thompson added 11 points (on 3-for-8 shooting) and seven rebounds in a losing effort.

Kevin Durant finished with 23 points (on 8-for-13 shooting), four rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes. He rested throughout the fourth quarter, bringing to an end his streak of consecutive games with at least 25 points at 41 games. Caron Butler added 23 points (on 8-for-10 shooting) and five rebounds for the Thunder.
