Video: Spurs' Manu Ginobili whips insane crosscourt pass to Danny Green

Spurs guard Manu Ginobili whipped a one-handed, crosscourt pass to set up a Danny Green three-pointer during San Antonio's 112-77 victory over Oklahoma City in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals on Wednesday.

Here's a pass that few players can make, but one that Ginobili makes look easy.

With a little more than two minutes remaining before halftime and the Spurs leading 47-42, Ginobili worked his way into the left corner, where he faced a double team from Perry Jones III and Reggie Jackson. Lacking any room to shoot, Ginobili worked his way out of the tight spot by slingshotting a left-handed pass along the baseline to Green, who was spotting up in the right corner.

The pass curled, almost like a corner kick in soccer, before hitting Green on the money. San Antonio's sharpshooting guard, who was wide open thanks to a back screen by Tim Duncan, proceeded to bury one of his seven three-pointers on the night.

"I didn't expect [Ginobili] to get the pass there," Green said. "The kind of blitzed him in the corner, he was stuck further away than I expected and I didn't think he was going to throw it. He still threw it because he's Manu, and it was a curveball, and I got it. Timmy set a great screen and I just let it fly. ... When Manu throws it, its coming from all types of angles and has a lot of different curves on it."

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich humorously declined to discuss the highlight reel play.

"I'd rather not comment on who does what on what play, if you don't mind," he said.

The Ginobili-to-Green connection was a part of a 22-8 run to close the second quarter that helped San Antonio break Game 2 wide open.

Green finished with 21 points (on 7-for-11 shooting), three rebounds and one assist. Ginobili tallied 11 points (on 2-for-4 shooting) and four assists. Tony Parker led the Spurs with a game-high 22 points (on 10-for-17 shooting) and five assists.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook each finished with 15 points in a losing effort.
