Thunder guard Russell Westbrook threw down an emphatic dunk during San Antonio's 117-89 victory over Oklahoma City in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals on Thursday.
Westbrook drove through the paint past Kawhi Leonard before unleashing a right-handed tomahawk slam that left the backboard shaking. The dunk silenced the AT&T Center crowd and brought Oklahoma City's bench to its feet.
It was a rare highlight for the Thunder, who were blown out for the third straight time in the AT&T Center during this series.
Oklahoma City's All-Star point guard was coming off of a 40-point, 10-assist, 5-rebound, 5-steal performance in Game 4. Westbrook finished with 21 points (on 6-for-12 shooting), seven assists, and four rebounds.
Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 22 points (on 8-for-13 shooting) and 12 rebounds in the win. Manu Ginobili added 19 points (on 7-for-9 shooting), six assists and four rebounds for San Antonio.
The Spurs hold a 3-2 series lead over the Thunder. Game 6 is set for the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City on Saturday.
