OKLAHOMA CITY -- Spurs All-Star point guard Tony Parker was forced from action at halftime of Game 6 of the Western Conference finals on Saturday with a sore left ankle.

San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich replaced Parker with reserve point guard Cory Joseph to start the second half. Oklahoma City led at halftime 49-42.

Parker scored eight points (on 3-for-6 shooting), but had zero assists against two turnovers in 18 first-half minutes. He previously sat out the second half of San Antonio's Game 5 closeout win over Portland in the conference semifinals with a sore left hamstring.

Parker, 32, is averaging 17.8 points and 5.2 assists in 30.8 minutes per game during the 2014 playoffs. He has started every game so far during the postseason.

Joseph, 22, is averaging 3.3 points in 5.4 minutes per game over 12 appearances during the postseason.
