Free-agent point guard D.J. Augustin has agreed to a two-year, $6 million deal with the Detroit Pistons, Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reported Sunday night.

Augustin had also garnered interest from the Dallas Mavericks and Charlotte Hornets. The Pistons will be the 26-year-old Augustin's fifth different team in four years, as he has spent time with the Hornets, Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls, and Toronto Raptors. He had a career-defining stretch with the Bulls last season, averaging almost 15 points and five assists in about 30 minutes per game. He played in 61 games for the Bulls, shooting better than 40 percent from beyond the 3-point arc.

Augustin will likely play behind Brandon Jennings at the point guard position in Detroit.
