Free agent guard Ray Allen is reportedly still considering retirement, according to Yahoo Sports' Marc Spears.

After playing alongside LeBron James the last two seasons in Miami, Allen is rumored to be a target of the Cleveland Cavaliers after they signed James last week. Miami is also reportedly interested in bringing back the 18-year NBA veteran.

Spears provided some insight into Allen's thought process on retirement:

In late May, Allen admitted that retirement was a possibility.

"Do I want to get to the point where you tell me, 'Look, man, you ain't looking good out there?'" Allen said. "Do you want to get to that point and people start saying that about you?"

Allen, 38, is the NBA's all-time leader in three-pointers made. The two-time NBA champion averaged 9.6 points per game last season for the Heat.
