The Indiana Pacers agreed to terms with Rodney Stuckey on a one-year deal with the former Detroit Pistons guard, Sam Amick of USA Today Sports tweeted Wednesday night.
The news comes after it was reported earlier in the day that Indiana had 'serious interest" in the 28-year-old, who had spent his entire career up until now with the Pistons. The news also comes on the same day that former Pacers swingman Lance Stephenson agreed to a three-year, $27 million deal with the Charlotte Hornets.
A 15th overall pick by the Pistons in 2007, Rodney's averages last season of 13.9 points and 2.1 assists were virtually on par with his career averages. Stuckey shot 27.3 percent from the arc last year, a problem the team will need to address since Indiana ranked No. 22 in the league in three-pointers made last season.
