The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to sign Ryan Kelly to a two-year contract, according to Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News.

Kelly, 23, averaged 8.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and shot 33.8 percent from beyond the arc in 59 games for the Lakers last season.

The Lakers in June extended Kelly a $1.1 million qualifying offer, making him a restricted free agent. Kelly, a second-round pick out of Duke in 2013, commented on his new deal:

The Lakers won 27 games and missed the playoffs last season. This offseason, the team watched Pau Gasol join the Bulls in free agency, agreed to sign power forwards Ed Davis, Carlos Boozer and Jordan Hill and drafted Kentucky product Julius Randle in the first round.
