The Detroit Pistons have signed second-round draft pick Spencer Dinwiddie to a three-year deal, according to Marc Stein of ESPN

Dinwiddie was selected 38th overall in the 2014 NBA draft from Colorado despite tearing his left ACL in January. His recovery process is expected to last through the start of the season.

Due to the injury, Dinwiddie was unable to participate in the Las Vegas Summer League.

As a junior at Colorado, the point guard averaged 14.7 points, 3.8 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game.
