Donald Sterling reportedly sues wife, NBA and Adam Silver
Embattled Clippers owner Donald Sterling has filed a civil lawsuit against his estranged wife, Shelly, the NBA and commissioner Adam Silver, according to a report Tuesday night from ABC Eyewitness News.
The lawsuit was filed in State court on Tuesday afternoon, according to the report, and alleges a breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and fraud.

The news comes on the same day that a top ranking Clippers executive testified in court during a separate trial that Clippers coach and president of basketball operations Doc Rivers will likely resign from his dual post if Sterling is still the official owner of the organization by the time the season gets underway in the fall. That separate trial is to determine whether Sterling's wife is legally allowed to sell the team for $2 billion to Microsoft executive Steve Ballmer.
Sterling remains under fire by much of the league for disparaging comments he admitted to making about African-Americans during a phone call that he did not know was being taped. The call was subsequently leaked to the media in the spring and for those comments, Sterling was banned for life from the league and fined $2.5 million.
