Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin withdrew from Team USA's training camp due to a small back fracture, reports ESPN.com’s Ramona Shelburne.

Griffin withdrew last week after he was one of 19 players selected to the USA roster. Team USA is practicing in Las Vegas in preparation for the FIBA World Cup, which starts next month in Spain.

According to the report, doctors advised Griffin to rest and heal the injury so he can be ready for the upcoming NBA season.
