Former NBA player Rick Brunson was indicted on charges of attempted criminal sexual assault, criminal sexual abuse, aggravated battery and domestic battery, reports the Chicago Tribune.

The charges stem from his arrest in June following an incident with a massage therapist. He was originally charged with attempted sexual assault and aggravated battery.

Brunson, 42, pled not guilty to the charges.

According to the report, Brunson used the name of retired NBA star Patrick Ewing to book an appointment with a massage therapist who had notified Brunson that she would no longer work with him.

Brunson was allowed to leave the state to attend functions involving his children and to pursue job opportunities.

Brunson suited up for eight NBA teams, last playing in 2006 and has worked on the staffs of the Denver Nuggets and the Charlotte Hornets (Bobcats).
