Report: Thanasis Antetokounmpo won't play for Knicks this season
Knicks draft pick Thanasis Antetokounmpo will play either in the D-League or overseas next season, according to RealGM's Shams Charania.
The Knicks do not have a roster spot available for Antetokounmpo after acquiring forwardsQuincy Acy and Travis Outlaw in a trade last week.
New York selected Antetokounmpo with the 51st pick after taking Wichita State product Cleanthony Early at No. 34. The team also picked French forward Louis Labryie at No. 57.

Antetokounmpo, 22, averaged 12 points and 4.3 rebounds in 50 games with the Delaware 87ers of the NBA D-league. He is the brother of Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.
