The Indiana Pacers have invited undrafted former Syracuse forward C.J. Fair to training camp and offered him a non-guaranteed contract, according to a report from RealGM's Shams Charania.

Fair averaged 4.0 points and 2.6 rebounds in five summer league games with the Dallas Mavericks. A second-team All-American in his final season at Syracuse, the 6-foot-8 Fair posted averages of 16.5 points and 6.4 rebounds in 34 games with the Orange.

This offseason, the Pacers added guards C.J. Miles and Rodney Stuckey and watched Lance Stephenson sign with Charlotte. Star forward Paul George is expected to miss the upcoming season after suffering a gruesome leg fracture in a Team USA intrasquad scrimmage earlier this month.

Indiana went 56-26 and earned the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference last season before falling to the Miami Heat in the conference finals.
