Philadelphia 76ers point guard Michael Carter-Williams will be a limited participant at training camp as he continues to recover from shoulder surgery, coach Brett Brown said on Thursday.
Carter-Williams, 22, underwent the procedure in May. The 76ers' training camp opens Tuesday and runs through Oct. 4.
Carter-Williams averaged 16.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.2 assists en route to winning the NBA's Rookie of the Year award last season.
The 76ers went 19-63 last season.
MCW will not be a full participant at training camp as he still recovers from shoulder surgery. Brett Brown is happy where MCW is tho.— Bob Cooney (@BobCooney76) September 25, 2014
