Kidd-Gilchrist returns to lineup for Hornets

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) Hornets coach Steve Clifford says forward Michael Kidd Gilchrist will be back in the starting lineup Friday night when Charlotte faces the Atlanta Hawks.

Kidd-Gilchrist missed the last two games with a rib injury.

The No. 2 overall pick in the 2013 draft was off to a solid start, averaging 11.3 points and 7.7 rebounds in his first three games for the Hornets (2-3).
