CHICAGO (AP) Bulls point guard Derrick Rose has returned to the lineup after missing two games with sprained ankles.

Rose started Monday night for Chicago against the Detroit Pistons.

Rose, who missed most of the past two seasons because of serious knee injuries, was sidelined for two games after he got hurt in a 114-108 overtime loss to Cleveland on Oct. 31. The 2011 NBA MVP played 31 minutes in a 95-86 win at Milwaukee on Wednesday, and then missed two more games.

The 26-year-old Rose averaged 15.3 points and 5.3 assists in his first three games this season.
