San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker and forward Tim Duncan will sit out against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.
Parker will be out due to bruised ribs sustained in practice, while Duncan is being held out for rest reasons. San Antonio will also continue to be without center Tiago Splitter, who is dealing with a calf injury, and point guard Patty Mills, who had right shoulder surgery.
Parker, who will miss his first game of the season, is averaging 17.3 points and 5.7 assists through 16 games. Duncan is averaging 14.0 points and 9.9 rebounds in 15 games.
The 76ers, who are 0-16, are still looking for their first win of the season. They host the Spurs (12-4) at 7 p.m.
