Jazz guard Alec Burks will miss his second consecutive game when Utah plays Orlando on Friday night, the team announced. According to Jody Genessy of The Deseret News, Burks visited doctors in New York and Cleveland this week and could require surgery

Nuggets guard Arron Afflalo was ejected for a flagrant foul on Burks on Monday. The foul re-aggravated an earlier injury, Genessy reports

Burks sat out Wednesday's game against the Raptors after starting each of Utah's previous 18 games. Rodney Hood started in place of Burks at shooting guard.

Kyle O'Quinn fined $15,000 for flagrant hit to Blake Griffin's head

Burks is second on the team in minutes per game and is Utah's fourth-leading scorer with 13.3 points per game.
