Video: James Johnson dunks on Andre Drummond, then pays for it
A big-time poster dunk by Raptors forward James Johnson prompted a retaliatory, flagrant shove from Pistons center Andre Drummond during Toronto's 110-100 road victory on Friday.
With a little more than seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and the Raptors leading 93-75, Johnson charged down the baseline to throw down a huge cock-back dunk over Drummond.
Known as a high-flyer, Johnson really contorted his body before unleashing the hammer past Drummond.

In any event, Drummond wasn't pleased. On Toronto's next possession, Drummond stepped up from the paint to knock a driving Johnson to the court. Johnson crashed hard and immediately took offense to the contact, prompting a brief scrum between the two teams.

Drummond was assessed a flagrant foul 1, a designation that applies to contact that is deemed "unnecessary" and which does not require an automatic ejection. He was allowed to remain in the game. The NBA league office will review the play (as it does with all flagrant fouls) and it's possible that Drummond will face a fine and/or suspension for his blatant act of physicality.

In addition to the flagrant foul, Drummond also received a technical foul. Raptors forwards Chuck Hayes and Patrick Patterson and Pistons forward Greg Monroe also received technical fouls.
Jonas Valanciunas led the Raptors with a team-high 17 points and seven rebounds. Lou Williams and Kyle Lowry added 15 points apiece, while Johnson added 12 points and eight rebounds.

Brandon Jennings paced the Pistons with a game-high 22 points and eight assists. Drummond added seven points and 11 rebounds.
Toronto improved to 21-6. Detroit fell to 5-22.
