New York Knicks forward Quincy Acy has been suspended one game for committing a flagrant foul 2 against Washington Wizards guard John Wall on Christmas, the NBA announced on Friday.

With 5:31 remaining in Thursday's game, Acy was whistled for a hard foul that knocked Wall to the ground. Wall stood up and pushed Acy in the chest, and Acy appeared to take a swing at Wall before holding back. The two were then separated by players and officials. Acy was ejected and Wall received a technical foul.

Wall was also fined $15,000 for "escalating the incident" by shoving Acy, according to the league.

Acy, 24, is averaging 5.1 points and 4.9 rebounds in his first season with the Knicks. He finished Thursday's loss with four points and two rebounds as the Knicks fell to 5-26 after a 102-91 loss. He will serve his suspension on Saturday when the Knicks play at the Sacramento Kings.

Wall finished the game with 24 points, 11 assists and six rebounds. The Wizards are 20-8 and in third place in the Eastern Conference.
