Cavaliers GM David Griffin: David Blatt will remain our coach
Cleveland Cavaliers general manager David Griffin said the media narrative of the team's coaching situation with David Blatt is "totally ridiculous," according to Bleacher Report's Ethan J. Skolnick.
A recent report by ESPN said the Cavaliers are concerned about Blatt and his ability to reach the team. There was also a report that said James would leave Cleveland if "his hand is forced," which James called "outlandish."

"Listen, this narrative of our coaching situation is truly ridiculous," Griffin said on Sunday. "It is a non-story. It is a non-narrative. Coach Blatt is our coach. He's going to remain our coach. Do not write that as a vote of confidence. He never needed one. It was never a question. So don't write it that way."
Griffin said he knew before the season it would be about "growth and development" and said Cleveland has played the toughest schedule in the Eastern Conference so far.
"Every member of our organization, from top to bottom, ownership, myself, the players, the coaches, LeBron himself, signed on for the long haul. This is something we're doing over time," he said. "And yes, we've had some bumps, we've looked really, really bad at times. We've also beaten every team ahead of us in the Eastern Conference."

The Cavaliers fell to 19-15 after losing 109-90 at home to the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday afternoon. Cavaliers forward Kevin Love poured in a game-high 30 points and 10 rebounds. Monta Ellis scored 20 points in the Mavericks' fifth-straight win. Dallas, at 25-10, has won eight of 10 games since acquiring Rajon Rondo on Dec. 18.
