Pistons' Brandon Jennings fined $15,000 for making obscene gesture

The NBA fined Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings $15,000 for making an obscene gesture during Monday's win over the Toronto Raptors. After making a three pointer to take the lead with just under three minutes remaining, Jennings did the "Sam Cassell dance" on his way down the court.

The NBA fined Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings $15,000 for making an obscene gesture during Monday's win over the Toronto Raptors.

After making a three pointer to take the lead with just under three minutes remaining, Jennings did the "Sam Cassell dance" on his way down the court. Timberwolves guard Kevin Martin was fined for making the same gesture earlier this season.

Jennings finished the game with 34 points, 10 assists, two steals and two rebounds as the Pistons knocked off the Raptors on the road, 114-111. He has averaged 20.3 points, 7.0 assists and 1.4 steals since the Pistons released Josh Smith last month.

Detroit has won nine of its last 10 games and is 14-24 on the season. The Pistons are two games behind the Brooklyn Nets for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

The Pistons host the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
