Clippers waive point guard Jordan Farmar
The Los Angeles Clippersannounced Friday that they have waived point guard Jordan Farmar.
Farmar, 28, signed a two-year, $4.2 million contract with the Clippers in the offseason after spending last season with the Los Angeles Lakers.
On Thursday, the Clippers acquired guard Austin Rivers in a three-team trade with the Boston Celtics and Phoenix Suns.

Farmar averaged 4.6 points, 1.9 assists and 1.2 rebounds in 36 games this season for Los Angeles. With the Lakers in 2013-14, he averaged 10.1 points and 4.9 assists in 41 games.
The Clippers are one of several teams who are reportedly interested in point guard Nate Robinson. Robinson was bought out by the Celtics on Thursday.
